Since Jack was born I’ve tried my best to take plenty of pictures. A lot have been great, but my inner perfectionist is never totally satisfied. I know the biggest reason for this is my camera. These small digital point and shoot cameras will never measure up to my professional quality Nikon SLR.
Anyhow, I’m going to dust my Nikon off soon and take some real pictures! All I need is a tripod and I can get to it. But that’s another problem—it’s in Canada!
In the meantime I’ve been spending some time looking at baby pictures (on flickr) to inspire me. So far I’ve found some amazing shots. (Warning, some of these pictures are so damn cute you might be temporarily overwhelmed.)
This flickr pool is a great place for quality baby portraits. Most of all, this one is my favorite. I also love this one, this one, and this one.
I only hope I can shoot something half as good as these. Wish me luck!
Seriously. I think I’m overwhelmed by the cuteness. I didn’t believe you at first, but those pics are irresistable. Oh, and we have a cheapy tripod you can borrow, if that helps. I’ve seen your pics and I know that whatever turns out (especially with cutie Jackson in the picture) will be just as overwhelmingly adorable, if not more so.
