Dog-UH

OK, we’re calling it: your official first word is “dog.” While it some times comes out as “og” or “dog-UH,” it’s clear you know what you’re saying, and to whom you’re referring. Spencer and Sharky have been poked and prodded in conjunction with the word for at least a week now.

Your Dad and I aren’t surprised, although, we had our money on “Spencer!” uttered in exasperation—he’s always getting in trouble for something around here, which results in frequent scoldings. But “dog” is close enough.

What’s next? Mom thinks “Hugh!” uttered in exasperation, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
